• •"Service" means the DNDShield browser extension, website (dndshield.com), cloud dashboard, and any related services.
• •"User", "you", "your" refers to any person who installs or uses the Service.

By accessing or using any part of the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

DNDShield is a browser extension that blocks ads, trackers, popups, and other unwanted content on websites. The Service includes:

• •A free browser extension for Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Opera
• •An optional cloud account for syncing settings across devices
• •Optional paid plans with additional features
• •A marketing website with documentation and support

You agree to use DNDShield only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• •Use the Service to violate any applicable laws or regulations
• •Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the extension beyond what is permitted by law
• •Distribute modified versions of the extension without our written consent
• •Use the Service to interfere with the operation of other software or systems
• •Create multiple accounts to abuse free tier limits
• •Resell or redistribute paid features without authorization

An account is not required to use DNDShield. Core ad blocking works without an account. If you create an account:

• •You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure
• •You must provide accurate information when creating your account
• •You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
• •We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms

DNDShield offers free and paid plans. For paid plans:

• •Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
• •Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• •Prices may change with 30 days' notice. Existing subscriptions are honoured until renewal.
• •Lifetime deals (e.g. via AppSumo) are subject to their respective deal terms.

See our Refund Policy for details. In general, we offer a 14-day refund window for paid plans if you are not satisfied with the Service.

All content, code, design, trademarks, and branding of DNDShield are owned by us or licensed to us. The extension includes open-source filter lists (AdGuard, EasyList, EasyPrivacy) which are used under their respective open-source licenses. You may not use our branding, logo, or name to imply endorsement without written permission.

DNDShield modifies how third-party websites appear in your browser by blocking ads and trackers. We are not responsible for the content, functionality, or availability of third-party websites. Some websites may not function correctly with ad blocking enabled — you can allowlist individual sites in the extension settings.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

• •The Service will block 100% of ads, trackers, or unwanted content
• •The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with all websites
• •The Service will not affect website functionality in some cases

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DNDShield and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. This includes lost revenue, data loss, or damages caused by website malfunction due to ad blocking. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $50, whichever is greater.

You agree to indemnify and hold DNDShield harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.

You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the extension and/or deleting your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections on intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, and indemnification survive termination.

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users (e.g. via extension notification or email to account holders).

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of India, unless otherwise required by local consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.
