A few advanced extras (Social Media Isolation, Gmail Pixel Block, Weekly Privacy Report, and team features like Shared Block Lists and Audit Logs) are optional paid add-ons — that applies even to lifetime holders, since they run on separate infrastructure. Core ad/tracker/privacy protection is never gated behind an add-on.
How is this different from uBlock Origin?

uBlock Origin is excellent for power users who manage filter lists manually. DNDShield adds what uBlock can't: cloud sync (settings follow you across all devices automatically), video ad skip on multiple platforms out of the box, schedule blocking to enforce focus hours, and a clean dashboard — zero configuration needed.
What is CNAME tracking and why does it matter?

Advertisers route tracking scripts through a subdomain of the website you're visiting (e.g., analytics.trusted-site.com) so they look first-party and bypass standard blockers. Most ad blockers — including uBlock Origin on Chrome — miss these entirely (uBlock only supports this on Firefox). DNDShield Tier 2+ will detect and block CNAME-cloaked trackers — this is on our roadmap, not live yet.
Can I stack codes to get more devices?
